Dear friends and customers,
our next meat delivery was originally scheduled for April 28th / 29th. We are sorry that we have to delay it for one week. The new delivery dates are the 5th of May (Kamloops & the Okanagan region) and the 6th of May (Lower Mainland & Vancouver).

Sunny – my new dog
Today I want to introduce you to a Mini Blue Heeler ( Australian cattle dog breed ) that moved in with us on Big Bear Ranch. Her name is Sunny – which tells you all about her.
After receiving so many lovely and thoughtful emails regarding Wirri’s passing, I wanted to share this happy news with you.
Coincidentally, the same day I got Sunny an essay about the human relationship with dogs was in my inbox:
Please do not forget to send your meat order because you are reading these interesting thoughts

Wirri – my little dog
Wirri, my steady companion for 9 years left us on April 1st after 5 days of fighting Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia.Thankfully Florian did the last meat delivery trip and I could stay with her until her last breath. Wirri brought us joy every day with her funny attitudes, determination and tenderness with my grand kids. She even tolerated our cats, which is remarkable for a German Hunting Terrier. We all miss her and my house and life are feeling empty now. Rainer |
